Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Food Manufacturing
Daventry | £47,363 + Bonus | Mon-Fri, 5:30am-2:15pm (Early Shift)
Are you a hands-on engineer who loves solving problems and keeping production running smoothly? Do you want a Monday-Friday role with an early finish every day and no weekend shifts?
We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK food manufacturer at their Daventry site. You'll be part of a small, supportive team maintaining a wide range of production and packaging machinery in a clean, fast-paced food environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a mix of machinery - cutting, depositing, pumps, packaging lines, and utilities.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly to keep production moving.
- Record maintenance tasks on the E-Maint PPM system and support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, RCA, etc.).
- Support production teams with equipment checks and safe operation.
- Liaise with contractors and help manage site utilities and safety systems.
What we're looking for:
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualifications.
- 17th/18th Edition certified.
- Previous experience in food or FMCG manufacturing.
- Confident with both mechanical and electrical fault-finding.
- Proactive, team-focused, and able to work independently.
